Road Trip

Almost 2 weeks ago my mom and I took Isabelle on her very first road trip. We went to see my sister and her cute family in Mesquite. Isabelle is actually a very good traveler, she slept almost the whole way. :)

It was so fun showing Isabelle off to them for the very first time. The all seemed to love her especially Drew. It was funny to see Drew with Isabelle. He would sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to her and tell her "It's Ok" and rub her head when she would cry. Preston however wasn't to sure about her. He was definitely curious but I'm not sure if he was more curious about her or her bouncer. Preston would bounce her in her bouncer like she was headed for the moon. It was even better when Isabelle wasn't in the bouncer, Preston would take her place. Since Preston is just a bit heavier his bum would almost touch the ground. Then he would start bouncing in it and hit his behind on the ground and say "weeeeee" it was hilarious.

I enjoyed our little trip to Mesquite. Courtney and Doug's new home is so beautiful and the weather was awesome. We even got to go swimming. Ok so we didnt really swim, we sat in the hot tub but the weather was in the high 60's. I hope we get to go visit them more often since the live a lot closer now. Of course they're always welcome up here... Hint Hint... :)
